Théa Manola, is an architect, has a master degree and a Phd in Urban studies. She is associate professor (tenured) at the Grenoble school of architecture (University Grenoble Alpes), a researcher in the CRESSON team at the CNRS Laboratory AAU (Ambiences, Architecture, Urbanities). Her scientific work focuses on sensitive and aesthetic experiences (ordinary and situated), their intersection with environmental issues and their consideration by the architectural and urban design professions, particularly in participatory project processes and/or integrating ecological issues. She also works on the links between social sciences and project processes and on qualitative methodologies/tools at the intersection of these fields, and the relative professional evolutions.
