Architect and PhD in Regional Planning and Public Policies (IUAV). She is professor at Politecnico di Torino. Her research interests focus on the relationship between informal practices and institutional projects for the transformation of the contemporary city. On this topic she published several papers and edited the recent volume “Spatial tensions in urban design. Understanding Contemporary Urban Phenomena”.
Moreover, since 2016 she is a member of Labsus, a NGO where she deals in particular with the relationship between common goods, spatial transformations and social emancipation. Currently she participates in various researches of national and international interest, such as FISR Covid 2020 and Erasmus+.
