Architect and PhD, she carries out research and teaching activities at Politecnico di Torino and Politecnico di Milano. During the last years, she spent various periods at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Marginal territories affected by depopulation are central issues in her current researches: “Riabitare Alicia” about Salemi and her book “Territori Marginali. Oscillazioni tra interno e costa” are some examples.
Her works have been awarded by Biennale dello Spazio Pubblico in Rome, and the “Hutong Playground” istallaton she co-curated was part of 2017 Beijing Design Week. Together with the Making Room(s) team, she was selected as runner-up in the Europan14 competition.
